The main aim of the course is to provide an opportunity to acquire wide spectrum of Buddhist Sanskrit Literature and its philosophy required for further studies or career prospects of the course followers. It covers skills development through practical application and a much deeper analysis and evaluation of the theoretical foundations of Buddhist Sanskrit studies taken up in the diploma course.

Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Master key concepts and theories of Mahāyāna Buddhism.
  • Analyze the rules of Buddhist Sanskrit (hybrid) Language.
  • Go through Sanskrit texts with grammatical analysis.
  • Apply basic principles of Mahāyāna Buddhism for the betterment of the society.
  • Compare the differences of Mahayana and Theravada concepts.
  • Provide them with a recognized and respected Qualification which will eventually enable them to complete high level program including degrees.
