Dean’s List student receives a laptop from the Differently Abled Undergraduate Fund

S.H. Ayantha M. Lakshan, a visually impaired student of the Faculty of Humanities, has earned a place in the Dean’s List for the academic year 2022/2023 in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. To support the continuation of his academic work, he was recently awarded a laptop through the Differently Abled Undergraduate Fund.
The Differently Abled Undergraduate Fund is an initiative of Prof. Sudath Kalingamudali of the Faculty of Science and is sustained through the generous contributions of many well-wishers. The Differently Abled Undergraduate Fund has supported many students over the years by providing essential support such as laptops and electric wheelchairs. Dr. Mahishi Ranaweera, Director of the Inclusivity Centre expressed her sincere appreciation to Prof. Sudath Kalingamudali, Dr. Dhmmika Abeysinghe, Dr. Rohitha Silva and Mrs Ruwani Wade for their generous contributions and continued commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowering differently abled students to achieve their academic aspirations.
