Korean Unit of the Department of Modern Languages, was awarded for the Best Partner Organization of 2022 at its Volunteer Partners day in appreciation of valuable cooperation towards the KOICA Volunteer Program. This is an annual award presented by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) for best practices of partner organizations to strengthen the relationship with KOICA volunteer program. The event was held on 28th October 2022, at Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo, with the presence of KOICA Country Director Kim Myungjin, officials from KOICA. Head of the Department of Modern Languages Professor Dilrukshi Rathnayake, Lecturer Ms. Chathurika Nilani from the Centre of Korean Studies were participated representing the University of Kelaniya.
