The section on Christian Culture offers a unique opportunity for students of any religious affiliation, Christian or not, to learn of Christianity as one of the worlds' religions.
The Department of Western Classical Culture & Christian Culture functions as a two - subject department with one teaching Western Classical Culture and the other Christian Culture. Both subjects enable the students to gain an insight in to the foundations of Western thought, for a deeper understanding, comparative study or to widen one's vision and out look. The aim and objective of the department is to produce students of a higher intellectual quality with a human understanding and outlook of issues to enable them to observe beyond the surface. This is mainly done through the analytical and critical study of the classics and its environments in which it flourished.
