කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්‍යයනාංශය මගින් සංවිධානය කළ *පරියෙසනා* දේශන මාලාවේ ප්‍රථමාංකය,
*'නිර්මාණාත්මක චින්තනය සහ ශ්‍රව්‍ය දෘශ්‍ය නිර්මාණකරණය' ( 'සංසාරේ පියසටහන්' ඒකාංක ටෙලිනාට්‍ය ඇසුරෙන්)* යන තේමාව යටතේ, කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ නාට්‍ය, සිනමා හා රූපවාහිනී අධ්‍යයනාංශයේ අංශාධිපති ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨ කථිකාචාර්ය , උපුල් ජයන්ත රණේපුර මැතිතුමා විසින් පවත්වන ලදී. මෙම ශාස්ත්‍රීය දේශනයට පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්‍යයනාංශයේ අංශාධිපති ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨ මහාචාර්ය පූජ්‍ය මකුරුප්පේ ධම්මානන්ද ස්වාමීන්ද්‍රයන් වහන්සේ ඇතුළු ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සහ විද්‍යාර්ථීහු විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් සහභාගී වූහ.
The inaugural lecture of the *PARIYESANĀ* academic lecture series, organized by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Kelaniya, was delivered by Mr. Upul Jayantha Ranepura, Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Drama, Cinema, and Television at the University of Kelaniya. The event drew a large audience, including faculty members and students, who actively engaged in the insightful session. The lecture was graced by the presence of the Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Senior Professor Most Ven. Makuruppe Dhammananda Thero, adding a distinguished touch to the occasion.
