The Department of Pali & Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya proudly celebrated the inauguration of its Diploma in Buddhist Studies for international students on August 1, 2024, at the K14 Auditorium. This event is a symbol of commitment to sharing the rich traditions and teachings of Buddhism with a global audience, attracting students from diverse countries including Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Burma, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh.
The Department of Pali & Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya proudly celebrated the inauguration of its Diploma in Buddhist Studies for international students on August 1, 2024, at the K14 Auditorium. The Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Kelaniya proudly announces the successful completion of its 2024 scholarship program, generously sponsored by the Glorious Sun Charity Foundation. This marks the third significant initiative for the year, providing substantial financial support to 352 deserving students. Each awarded Rs. 22,500. The scholarship program aims to alleviate financial burdens and encourage academic excellence in the field of Pali and Buddhist studies.

“පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්‍යයන පඬිවර සම්භාවනා” යන තේමාව යටතේ පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්‍යයන අංශයේ සේවාර්ජිත ආචාර්යවරුන් ඇගයීමේ උපහාර උළෙල පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්‍යයන අංශයේ අංශාධිපති ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ මහාචාර්ය පූජ්‍ය මකුරුප්පේ ධම්මානන්ද හිමිපාණන්ගේ මගපෙන්වීම යටතේ කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ මානවශාස්ත්‍ර පීඨයේ කොටහේනේ ශ්‍රී ප්‍රඥාකීර්ති නාහිමි අනුස්මරණ ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේ දී 2024-02-21 දින උත්කර්ෂවත් ලෙස පැවැත්විණි.
