A special musical program organized by the Department of Sanskrit and Eastern Studies took place at the K14 premises. The Geethavichara was conducted by Senior Professor Induragare Dhammarathana Thero. Renowned singer Gamini Jeevaratne performed a selection of songs during the event. Attendees included Dr. Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, veteran actor Wilson Gunaratne, members of the Academic Council, faculty members, and students. Under the leadership of Head, Senior Lecturer Udawela Revatha Thero, the Student Parshad of the Department successfully coordinated this musical evening.
