The Department of English Language Teaching inaugurated its external courses; Diploma in English for Professional Purposes (DEPP) and CONNECT: An Intermediate course in English (CICE) for the year 2024 on July 27th. The programs are designed to enhance language skills and offer comprehensive training to meet the needs of diverse learners, from beginners to advanced.
Diploma Course: One-Year Program
The external diploma course is a one-year program providing in-depth training across four key language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This course is structured to build a solid foundation in each area, ensuring that learners develop a well-rounded proficiency in English.
Certificate Course: Six-Month Program
The certificate course offers a six-month curriculum designed to cover six modules. Each module is delivered by lecturers who are specialized in their respective fields. The course content is developed to address various aspects of English language usage, providing learners with targeted knowledge and skills to function in an English-speaking environment.
