The Ceremony of Long Service Awards and Vice-Chancellor’s Awards at the University of Kelaniya was held on the 1st of January 2024 at the Dharmaloka Hall. On this occasion, Senior Professor Chamindi  Dilkushi Wettewe was honored with the Vice Chancellor’s Award for being one of the outstanding directors of the center/unit/committee of the University. Management Capacity Building Program for the First-year DCFM Undergraduates

The Management Capacity Building Program, designed by the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, sought to impart mindfulness skills to undergraduates. Delivered through structured lectures, the program aimed to cultivate and sustain mindfulness practices, enabling participants to adeptly navigate day-to-day stressors, fortify resilience, enhance well-being, and augment overall efficacy in both professional and personal spheres. Crucially, the instructional sessions of the program were effectively conducted by the English lecturers of the Department of English Language Teaching who regularly conduct lectures for the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.
