Annual Industry Tour for Foreign Students | 2025

The annual Industry Tour for foreign students, organized by the Department of Pali & Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya, successfully came to a close on January 16 and 18, 2025. The industry tour covered historic sites such as Dambulla, Anuradhapura, and nearby cultural landmarks, offering students a deep exploration of Sri Lanka’s Buddhist heritage.
This industry tour was fully organized by Senior Lecturer Ven. Muwapetigewala Pannaloka Thera and the Assistant of Foreign Courses, Mrs. Manasha Nanayakkara under the proper guidance of the Head of the Department of Pali & Buddhist Studies, Senior Professor Venerable Makuruppe Dhammananda Thera. Students had the opportunity to visit ancient places, engage in insightful discussions, and experiences.
