This workshop on Buddhist Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Counseling is mainly based on the practical aspect of the Buddha’s teachings.
It is obvious that a large number of doctrinal matters are discussed in every corner of the world under the term Buddhist studies. But it seems that they are mere discussions and academic endeavors techniques to be followed. And also, we do not find planning for discourses to be carried out.
“Technique without theory is blind, theory without technique is empty”
Buddhism from its beginning was organized including both theory and practice (vijjacarana sampanna). However, for the sake of newcomers to Buddhist practice, this workshop includes a short introduction to the fundamentals of Buddhist Psychology or Philosophy. But it is confined only to the basic teachings which are relevant to practical purposes.
Every theme of the workshop will be discussed through the relevant graphs and tables for the sake of easy understanding and remembrance. The details of every theme are given in a short book published for this purpose.
