The inauguration of the fifth batch of the Diploma Course in Buddhist Psychology and Counseling 2023 conducted by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya was held today. This event was coloured by the Faculty of Humanities Dean Dr. Sudath Senarath, Head of the Department, Senior Professor Makuruppe Dhammananda Thero, Professor Naotunne Wimalagnana Thero and other dignitaries. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr. Tharidu Weerasinghe, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Human Resource Management, University of Kelaniya. The special lecture was delivered by Mr. Udita Garusinghe, Senior Professor of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies. The introductory speech for the programe was delivered by Emeritus Senior Professor Mr. Sumanapala Galmangoda with invitation of course coordinator senior lecturer Dr. Gamini Wijayasinghe.
