With the great financial assistant of the Glorious Sun Charity Fund in Hong Kong the 8th round Scholarship Awarding was held on 05 April 2024 at Sri Dharmaloka Hall with the organization of the Department of Pali and Buddhist studies, University of Kelaniya.
On this occasion, Dr. Sudath Senarath, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Senior Professor Makuruppe Dhammananda Thera, Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist studies, Chair Professor Nabirittankadawara Gnanaratana Thera, Registrar K. K. K. Dharmathilake and a large number of members of the academic and none-academic staff of the Department graced the event.
Here, 352 students including monks engaged in Pali and Buddhist studies were awarded scholarships.
