කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්යයන අංශයේ බෞද්ධ මනෝවිද්යාව හා උපදේශන පාඨමාලාවේ තෙවන ක්ෂේත්ර චාරිකාව සඳහා "සමාජ සේවා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව" තෝරාගෙන තිබිණි. 2023-01-09 වන දින පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්යයන අධ්යයන අංශයේ අංශාධිපති ජේෂ්ඨ මහාචාර්ය පූජ්ය මකුරුප්පේ ධම්මානන්ද ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ ඇතුළු කථිකාචාර්යවරුන් පිරිස ඇතුළු විද්යාර්ථීන් මෙම චාරිකාව සඳහා සම්බන්ධ විය.
"Department of Social Services" was selected for the third field trip of the Buddhist Psychology and Counseling course of the Pali and Buddhist Department of the University of Kelaniya. On 09.01.2023, Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Senior Professor Rev. Makuruppe Dhammananda thera and other lecturers and students joined this trip.
