Diploma in Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya for the year 2022 will be begun on 14 th of March 2022 at 2.00 p.m. The inaugural session will be chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Sudath Senarath; and the Head of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, Senior Professor Ven. Makuruppe Dhammananda Thero. This year 11 foreign students will be involved for the diploma course, and lectures will be conducted through Zoom platform. The keynote speech at the inaugural session will be delivered by Ven. Kamburawala Revatha Thero, The chief Sanghanayaka of United Kingdom, Former lecturer of the Department of psychology and counselling - University of Glasgow, Counselor of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
