Anuradha JayasingheLecturer (Probationary)
D.G.T.A. Jayasinghe is a probationary lecturer of the Department of Linguistics, University of Kelaniya, who has obtained both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts Degrees from the same university, who has specialized in the field of Translation Studies. Presently she reads for Master of Philosophy in relation to cultural translation. She has obtained the Diploma in Tamil from the University of Kelaniya. She is a professional translator, writer, poetess, editor, proof reader, reviewer and a researcher. Her research interests lie in the sub field of Literary Translation, Legal Translation, Applied Linguistics; specially dialectal studies in relation to Tamil Language. Apart from teaching Translation Studies, she teaches Tamil Language for Sinhalese students at Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute, Yakkala.
