Submissions of the Dissertation: Special Guidelines
1. It is compulsory to pass all six subjects of the final examination conducted at the end of the first term coursework to submit the dissertation.
2. Please be informed that the deadline for the submission of your dissertations will be 30/04/2024. However, it is possible to submit your dissertations from 01/04/2024 onwards. Please note that the candidates are not allowed to submit the dissertations before or after the given time period.
3. The submission should be made before 3.30 pm of the due date.
4. It is compulsory to pass all six subjects of the final examination conducted at the end of the first term coursework to submit the dissertation.
5. In the submission, the candidate should hand over 2 spiral-bound hard copies and 2 soft copies of the dissertation (in CDs) to the Department.
6. When submitting the dissertation, the recommendation (signature) of the supervisor is mandatory.
3. The submission should be made before 3.30 pm of the due date.

5. In the submission, the candidate should hand over 2 spiral-bound hard copies and 2 soft copies of the dissertation (in CDs) to the Department.
6. When submitting the dissertation, the recommendation (signature) of the supervisor is mandatory.
7. It is compulsory to contact the supervisor regularly (minimum 6 visits). Candidates are advised to obtain regular advice from the supervisor before writing each chapter. Lack of contact with the supervisor can be a reason for the rejection of the dissertation.

9. Thesis writing guidelines available here should be followed in preparing the format and the layout of the dissertation.
10. In the submission, the candidate should hand over 2 spiral-bound hard copies and 2 soft copies of the dissertation (in CDs) to the Department of Linguistics.
11. When submitting the dissertation, the recommendation of the supervisor is essential.
