The Department of Linguistics was awarded third place for the Best Department Website of the University category at the Vice Chancellor's Award Ceremony 2024, held on 01 January 2025. The WebMaster of the Faculty of Humanities, Senior Lecturer Jayamal de Silva, was presented with the certificate.
