Guidelines for the preparation and submission of Abstracts

Writing an Abstract

Abstracts should be word-processed according to the following settings:


Page Size : A4
Font : English: Times New Roman / Sinhalese: FMAbhaya
Font sizes : Title - 14 Bold, centred
Name of the author : 12 Roman, centred
Department of the author : 12 Roman, centred
Email address of the corresponding author : 12 Italic, centred
Content : 12 Roman, justified, Single paragraph (Word limit: 250-300)
Key words : 12 Roman, left aligned
(Five key words should be given in alphabetical order)
Line spacing : 1.15
File format : Word document [.docx]

Special Note :


Abstracts not conforming to guidelines/submitted after the deadlines will be rejected.
Since all communication happens through email, all authors are requested to check emails regularly.
